Description

Let's dive into coding and gaming with the Python Snapper Game Holiday Edition! This time we embark on a holiday coding adventure! Students will create an interactive game where players take pictures of animals that appear on the screen. For Thanksgiving, students will try and snap pictures of Turkeys, Hedgehogs, Barn Owls, and other animals as they appear on the screen. Winter, we will have a Christmas background with some very special animals like Reindeer, Polar Bears, Penguins, and more!

Whether you're a student, a programmer, or simply someone interested in coding, this game will provide hours of entertainment and knowledge, all while enhancing your Python programming capabilities. This educational game provides a fun and interactive way to learn Python Programming while mastering the principles of logic, problem-solving, and game design.

The Python Coding Snapper Game is suitable for students with an above-average understanding of Python looking to get their feet wet and for more experienced programmers seeking an enjoyable way to reinforce their Python skills. It's a fantastic resource for educators looking to make programming education more engaging and accessible. Have a blast while becoming a coding master!

*INSTRUCTOR NOTE:  Recommend having 2 screens, and having downloaded Python IDE or PyCharm is preferred. Replit would be okay as well.

Students will learn:

  • Coding Proficiency: Improve your Python coding skills through practical application.
  • Logical Thinking: Enhance your problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Creativity: Create unique Python strategies to gain an edge in the game.
  • Social Interaction: Connect with others while competing in a friendly coding challenge.
