How I Work With Kids
I approach each lesson with humor and make the material relatable to the students. I approach the questions as fun “puzzles,” and “brain games,” not as parts of “tests.” After all, I am a puzzle lover myself!

- We've been using Testing Mom and working with two different Testing Mom tutors to prepare my 6th grader for standardized testing she will need to apply to some academically competitive local high school programs. Testing Mom has been one of the most effective tools we've used to prepare her, and it was a great experience working with her tutors. She worked with Ms. Deborah for Language Arts, and Deborah is a very gifted teacher. Deborah particularly excelled in focusing on the areas that needed strengthening and assigning homework perfectly targeted to those skills. With a lot of hard work and help from her tutors, my daughter went into her test with a lot of confidence. We were thrilled with the results -- she scored in the 97th percentile, which was an improvement from her score earlier in the year of 87th percentile. We plan to continue our formula for success and are grateful for the Testing Mom resources and her wonderful tutors.
