NYC Gifted and Talented Test Results Due Out in Early May!

It looks like the NYC department of education site still indicates the OLSAT test results for the New York City gifted and talented program will be announced to parents in early May.  We’re getting lots of anxious parents as they wait for the test results for the OLSAT and Bracken tests that were taken in January and February for admission into the uber-competitive gifted and talented program in NYC.  We’ll keep parents up to date as we hear more information.

• May 2011 – OLSAT test results and score reports along with G&T applications with available gifted and talented school sites communicated to eligible students 
• Mid May – School tours for gifted and talented in all 5 boroughs for both city-wide and district-wide programs
• Late May 2011 – NYC G&T applications due 
• June 2011  – NYC gifted and talented placement offer letters communicated to families; families accept/decline placement offers .
