WISC Test and Proof that Diet Impacts Intelligence

You are what you eat?

A study recently released by a British university shows evidence that children’s diets significantly impact their intelligence level. It’s not surprising that diet can affect intelligence, particularly in children, since after all, diet is the fuel off of which the body and brain run. Children’s brains are still developing, making the need for a healthy diet to fuel healthy growth that much more critical, and the recently released study utilized the WISC Test to prove that children with better diets rank higher in IQ than do children on junk food diets.

Parents who are concerned about their children’s intellectual development and their ability to perform well in school may utilize WISC practice tests or WISC sample tests to get their children ready for assessment exams; however, taking a look at children’s diets is important as well.
