Class Details:
In this class, the instructor will introduce your children to Scratch Programming Language. Scratch is an interactive coding language best suited to children who are visual learners. Scratch is a great way to enter the world of computer programming; which represents one of the most invaluable components of literacy in today’s world. By participating in coding education, students are able to open windows of opportunity and development in many different areas.
During class, students will learn some of the basics of Scratch. In Scratch programming, “ colorful blocks” are dragged and dropped and linked together to form “scripts,” or a group of coding instructions. These “scripts” will be used by students to begin coding their own interactive stories, animations, and games. Scratch is user-friendly and requires no previous coding experience in order to excel, so come join us as we explore the exciting world of Scratch Programming!
