Calling all future scientists and engineers! With Snap Circuits, anyone and everyone can learn the fundamentals of electronics, engineering, science, and technology. In this course, we will use Snap Circuits to explore the nature and inner workings of electrical currents- all while having a blast building something together.
Once we begin, students will be able to see where science and technology collide on our Snap Circuit boards. Come join us and learn about the dynamic world of electricity!
*There are over 200 projects and activities that are possible with the Snap Circuits Kit. We encourage students to purchase a kit prior to class in order to have a "hands-on experience" learning about electronics, engineering, and science. We will be having multiple classes available for students where they will be able to utilize their kits multiple times. Kits can be purchased on Amazon or at Target.

Instructor Bio:
As of September of 2022, Fantaysia has become the first female MS graduate in the IoT program at Florida International University. Students learn how a network of devices works to perform complex cohesive actions. For Fantaysia Polanco BS ’21, MS ’22, the program’s first female graduate, her new college of engineering and computing degree is helping her connect everything in her life and elevate the people around her.
Equipped with advanced technical skills and the heart of a teacher, Polanco is helping hundreds of children learn about engineering and computer science. She is also excelling in the professional realm. A few days after graduating, Polanco is working at General Motors as a software developer, helping the eCommerce sector expand its functionality.
