Sample AAP Test Questions
Wondering what kinds of questions your child will be asked on the NGAT (Naglieri General Ability Test)? Here are three sample AAP Test Questions:
IMPORTANT: While the NGAT sample questions shown on this page are representative of what your child will see on the exam, they aren’t taken directly from the actual test that’s being administered this year.
NGAT Sample Question #1 — NONVERBAL
The NGAT Nonverbal test consists of questions shown through diagrams and pictures. Students need to figure out the connections between shapes, colors, sequences, orientation, etc., to determine which option completes the pattern, or in this example, which one is different and is NOT like the others.
NGAT Sample Question #2 — VERBAL
The NGAT Verbal test asks students to figure out the connections between the universally recognized pictures. They need to identify which verbal idea they have in common and which picture does NOT belong.
NGAT Sample Question #3 — Quantitative
Answers: 5th figure, 2, 3
