Description

For most high school students, standardized tests scores are one of the key components of a college application. Evan, one of our tutors with over 5000 hours experience that include over 1200 five-star reviews, will break down each test of the test and offer behind-the-scenes strategies so your child’s scores soar!

In this class, Evan will get students fully familiar with every math concept that can appear on the test as well as offering time-saving strategies and how to recognize when a shortcut is available. Official test questions from ACT Test Makers will be used as well as supplemental worksheets to drill any difficulty a student encounters.

Meanwhile, in the science section, Evan will offer the most efficient approach to passages so that the questions are less overwhelming and the answers can be easily located. Evan has seen his students' test scores climb to levels of perfection leading them to get into their top choices for college.

Instructor's Bio:

My name is Evan, and I'd like to share my double life. For the past 18 years, I have been a prolific tutor and comedian. I have logged more than 5000+ hours in over 30 subjects! As a comedian, I have headlined in 48 states and appeared on shows like The Goldbergs, Glee, Conan, and America's Got Talent.

A message from Evan:
In my Comedy class we will not only break down the types of comedy but also get into why something is funny. Students will also learn to write their own jokes and pick up skills to help them with their school writing, public speaking, and overall confidence. With my Vocabulary class, I will make sure your child masters 20 new words daily with my secret “clearing” technique that has helped thousands of kids score high on the ACT, SAT, and PSAT tests. We will work on recognizing word parts: roots, prefixes and suffixes. Words will change weekly so your child can participate in a new Vocabulary class each day and master a ton of challenging words.
