Description

*This is a beginner class for students who have little or no knowledge of Cryptocurrencies or Blockchain Technology.

In this class, students will learn the basics of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and programming concepts. Students will engage in interactive learning activities designed to deepen their understanding of digital finance, and then create their own cryptocurrency design.

Our instructor will make the complex characteristics of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology accessible and easy to understand for young learners, all while showing just how much fun learning about digital finance can be.

Learning Objectives In this course, students will:

Learn what is cryptocurrency.
Learn the historical context of Bitcoin- why it was created.
Who invented the blockchain?
Learn basic cryptocurrency vocabulary.
Reading a blockchain ledger
Interacting with Solidity Programming Language (Ethereum)
Understanding L1 Technologies
Using Python (Vayder) to interact with smart contracts

Instructor's Bio:

Abhijeet has been involved in the programming and teaching sector for several years. He has worked with the brightest minds on wall street (Quantitative Researchers), and created AI (Machine Learning) Algorithms that analyze stock data, and give recommendations. He has also spent a lot of his time volunteering, and working with gifted students, and helping kids as young as 5 years old, and has been teaching them programming for several years. He has taught students that had no idea how to program, and they went on to win programming competitions. As of right now, he still works as a teacher for a private school, and still works with Quantitative Researchers on a daily basis.
