Product Details

Our Math/ELA Mini-Assessment simulates the test. For grades K through 8th grade.

Wondering how your child would perform if an end-of-year Math or English Language Arts (ELA) assessment were given today? Our Math/ELA Mini Assessment provides a realistic testing experience that helps identify your child’s academic strengths, areas for improvement, and overall readiness for grade-level expectations.

Designed for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade, this one-to-one online assessment simulates the types of questions and skills commonly found on end-of-year achievement tests, advanced academic screenings, gifted program evaluations, and classroom assessments.

The assessment helps parents gain valuable insight into how their child approaches academic challenges, responds to questions, and performs in a structured testing environment. It can also help uncover learning gaps that may not be obvious through report cards or classroom performance alone.

What You’ll Learn

During the assessment, you’ll gain a better understanding of:

  • Grade-level math and reading skills
  • Reading comprehension and vocabulary development
  • Mathematical reasoning and computation skills
  • Test-taking confidence and focus
  • Areas where additional support or enrichment may be beneficial

How the Assessment Works

Step 1: Schedule Your Session

Select a convenient date and time. If you have more than one child, please schedule a separate assessment for each student.

Step 2: Receive Login Information

You’ll receive video conference details via email prior to your appointment.

Step 3: Complete the Mini Assessment

During the 20–25-minute one-to-one session, an experienced tutor will guide your child through a series of age-appropriate, test-like Math and/or ELA questions.

Step 4: Parent Debrief

Within 1–2 business days, an educational advisor will contact you to schedule a 20-minute review session.

Step 5: Personalized Recommendations

During the debrief, we’ll discuss:

  • Your child’s performance and scores
  • Academic strengths and weaknesses
  • Test-taking behaviors and confidence level
  • Skill gaps that may need attention
